Who We Are
The Cimarron Valley Humane Society shelters adoptable dogs and cats from Payne and Lincoln counties as well as many municipalities within those counties. Because we use a series of foster homes, we quite often have to refuse cats, dogs and puppies. You can help by becoming a certified foster home or volunteer.
If you are deciding to give your dog or cat up because of behavior problems we can help by providing behavior counseling. With our help your pet can stay with you rather than becoming someone else's problem.
The Humane Society is facing a dog and cat food crisis at this time. Our source of donated food has withdrawn their support not only from our shelter but from many other shelters in the area as well. We are in desperate need of food and/or cash donations to purchase food.
We are a not-for-profit 501(3)(c) organization. The Humane society and our Parole a Pet program are run strictly by private donations.
We are also available to speak at your club or event about the programs at the Cimarron Valley Humane society.
Please call our Director Rebbecca Stowers at 918-225-3785.
